About Deutz Corporation

The history of Deutz Corporation can be traced back to N.A. Otto & Cie, a company established in March 1864 by Nicolaus Otto. Otto, as the inventor of the four-stroke internal combustion engine, wanted to focus on the production of stationary engines. His company was involved in much of the early advancements in the field of air- and liquid-cooled engines, diesel engines, and others.
