In 1952, Yvon and Lucien Gattaz established the company Radiall and purchased a workshop in Paris in order to produce connectors that could be implemented within televisions. Through the following years, Radiall began to grow as a company as they inaugurated their first factory, launched a coaxial connector, as well as established their headquarters in Rosny-Sous-Bois. During the 1970’s, Radiall also began to expand into foreign markets, establishing a subsidiary in England and an office in Germany in order to develop a European sales network. Through the 1970’s, Radiall acquired the connector business Sogie and entered the aerospace and fiber optics markets. In the early 1980’s, Radiall began expanding overseas into countries such as the United States and Brazil, as well as saw their connectors qualified for use by Boeing. During this time, Radiall focused on the development of their portfolio of products and acquisitions, and they boosted their presence in the American market. During the 2000’s, the telecommunication crisis began to exert pressure on many companies, and Radiall began to restructure and consolidate their business in response. More presently, Radiall has focused on their expansion with new acquisitions and partnerships.
